A Jacksonville Beach attorney was among six new Florida judges appointed last month by Gov. Ron DeSantis. Jeb. T. Branham, who also serves as the special magistrate for Atlantic Beach, will be sworn into the 4th Circuit Court Feb. 1, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of Circuit Judge David Gooding who retired effective Jan. 1.
