Lori Anderson becomes executive director of Beaches Dial-a-Ride

After serving 10 years as Mission House’s executive director, Lori Anderson announced she is stepping down from her role to become the first executive director for Beaches Dial-a-Ride.
During her time at Mission House, Anderson helped create a day facility where the Beaches homeless have access to resources that could lead to their independence, increased a $350,000 budget to $958,000, built a team of five into a team of 16 to assist those in need, successfully launched a $600,000 capital campaign into a $750,000 success – adding an upper level and 1,000 square feet to the existing Mission House building in 2015 – and created an endowment for Mission House.
“Mission House is currently in the best position ever.  We have the greatest staff of 16 educated and dedicated men and women who serve our clients and patients with their whole heart and soul.  We have the best board who are committed professionals who want to make Mission House better each and every day,” said Anderson.
