On May 5, Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry announced that effective May 6, all restrictions on the beach will be lifted. However, social distancing guidelines still apply.
Beachgoers are advised to continue to remain six feet apart from other groups and keep group sizes to below 10 people.
