On Oct. 29, the Ponte Vedra High School girls swim team was crowned district champions for the ninth year in a row. The boys team came in as runners-up to Fletcher High School.
The PV Sharks who took first place at the championships include Cleburne Wilson (50-yard freestyle); Holly Cox (200-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle); Lilly Lewis, Kaitlyn Copland, Olivia Copland and Holly Cox (girls 4 x 50-yard freestyle relay); and Lilly Lewis, Riley Hagy, Olivia Copland and Holly Cox (girls 4 x 100-yard freestyle relay).
