VFW Post 3270 supports Blessing in a Backpack

Greater Beaches VFW Post 3270 partnered with Mayport Elementary’s Blessing In A Backpack Program, which provides nutritious meals for students during the weekends.
VFW Post 3270 Commander Rich Possert, along with Quartermaster Jim Darnal, presented Mayport’s Blessing In A Backpack coordinator, Linda Bass, and her team a check for $1,000 received from a community grant awarded to Post 3270 from the National Foundation of the VFW.
This is the fourth year Post 3270 has contributed to Mayport’s Blessing In A Backpack.
