The owners of a property that is home to a new restaurant in Neptune Beach have filed suit against the city after the business was denied a special exception for off-site parking at Beaches Town Center.
In a suit filed Oct. 9, Huron-Sophia LLC is asking the court to review the order issued by the city.
Huron-Sophia owns property at 301 Atlantic Blvd., a former 7-11 store, and now home to The Local Restaurant.
In June, the petitioner asked the city to allow 13 off-site parking spaces but the request was denied. The plaintiff said that there is no evidence in the record to support the council’s denial.
