Families team up to support Bahamas

Many Atlantic Beach families have teamed up to support the residents of Hurricane Dorian-ravaged Bahamian islands. (From left) Hope Andrews, Scarlett McKimm, James Andrews, Judson McKimm, Valerie McKimm and Teddy Andrews set up a lemonade fund raiser Sept. 7 on Park Terrace East across from the Atlantic Beach Jazz Festival at Johansen Park. They are supporting Hope Town Volunteer Fire and Rescue (www.htvfr.org), which is assisting restoration efforts on Elbow Cay in the Abaco Islands.
