It has been quite a week on the First Coast for fishermen – the last taste of spring before the summer heat settles in over the weekend. Fishing has been fantastic the last couple of weeks, with bait around Mayport being the only complaint. The forecast for the coming weekend looks very fishable at this time, just hot. Extra water is a must.
