Fletcher girls win district soccer

    With six goals in two games of last week’s District 3-4A tournament, Kendall Sambito almost "single-footedly" lifted her Senators teammates to the state playoffs. Sambito, a speedy senior forward who sometimes plays in the midfield, scored a goal in each half of last Friday night’s district title game as Fletcher earned a 2-1 win over Atlantic Coast and punched its ticket for the postseason...
