Mayport Cats is looking for a home for a special foster cat whose story includes a brush with death, a period of uncertainty and a new type of surgery. Contributor Roxanne de Sousa, who shared the story with The Leader, has said of Rupert, “When I heard his story I thought of the saying, ‘a cat has 9 lives,’ and this one is definitely on his second!”
