The boundaries of the dune protection project will be expanded to provide additional coverage in south Jacksonville Beach. Originally installed last May by volunteers under the direction of Kevin Brown, the system utilizes PVC pipes and roping to keep pedestrians out of the dunes from 8th Avenue North to 2nd Avenue South.
