Lighted crosswalks will improve safety for pedestrians crossing Penman Road – the first lighted pedestrian crosswalk installed at 4th Avenue North is operational. Two additional crosswalks are planned for 8th Avenue North and 15th Avenue North, and will be installed by the city of Jacksonville, which maintains the county roadway.
