A memorial paddle out will be held this weekend for the man known as “the epitome of Aloha.” Paul West will be remembered for his wide smile, unending love for his family and commitment to the sport of surfing at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, at the Atlantic Boulevard oceanfront. A reception will follow from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sliders in Neptune Beach.
