A Neptune Beach board is helping homeowners preserve and protect historic architecture.
The Community Development Board’s Historic Preservation Subcommittee is crafting an amendment to the city’s variance process for properties with historic value. Last fall, the subcommittee began to draft language to help encourage homeowners to renovate older beach homes rather than tearing them down.
