The Northeast Florida Area Health Education Center (NEFAHEC) is a non-profit organization that works in partnership with ElderSource and the Florida Department of Elder Affairs to improve the health and well-being of adults ages 60 and older. The center offers evidence-based community programs at no charge. This resource offers free live webinar and telephone health education programs, and support programs including:
• Free transportation services for ages 60 and older – NEFAHEC offers free transportation to doctor appointments or to get groceries, to and from any location; and
• Free telephone reassurance program – Schedule a friendly call if you have concerns, or need support, information or guidance.
