The Jacksonville Beach City Council approved a motion at April 6's meeting allowing for earlier start times of council meetings as needed during the COVID-19 State of Emergency.
The change will allow for the city manager to schedule city council meetings to begin with a start time other than 7 p.m. in order to address the backup of documents and backup of work that have been postponed due to COVID-19, as well as the expected future work that will come during this time.
