Jacksonville Beach police continue to investigate an early morning home invasion that left one man dead.
On Sept. 21 at about 1:16 a.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of Penman Road North following reports of gunshots. Responding officers initially suspected the shooting was connected to an attempted burglary.
