No issues were reported in Jacksonville Beach during the first year of consolidation with Jacksonville Fire Rescue. In November 2019, the city entered into a 20-year contract for fire and emergency services with the city of Jacksonville. Jacksonville Beach Fire Marshal Steve Sciotto said the transition caused no interruption in service and no complaints were received.
