Girl Scouts send Valentine's Day cards to nursing home

Girl Scout Troop 64002 organized a community service project to send Valentine’s Day cards to every resident of Avante Villa Nursing Home. The troop of thirteen 2nd and 3rd graders made 115 Valentine’s Cards with handwritten messages. The girls hoped to make all 115 residents smile and for them to know that they are not alone.
