The Fletcher Marine Coastal Club was presented a certificate of recognition by Keep Jacksonville Beautiful and the Duval County Environmental Commission for the club's efforts to improve the Beaches coastal ecosystem. The club plants sea oats, participates in beach cleanups and is installing protective barriers to protect the dunes from excess foot traffic.
