A beach tradition of 72 years will unfold again this Sunday, April 9. That is the Easter Sunrise Service in Jacksonville Beach, open to all.
Based on the expected time of sunrise, the service will begin at 6:45 a.m. at the Seawalk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach. Attendees in lawn chairs and on blankets will celebrate, facing the rising of the sun on this Holy Day for Christians.
