The Jacksonville Beach City Council recognized the Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol June 20 for almost four decades of conservation work with a proclamation declaring June 26, 2022, “Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol Day.”
Special recognition was given to Jan Hanson, wife of the late Mort Hanson, BSTP founder.
