Atlantic Beach officials June 1 opened what was determined to be a time capsule stored away in the City Clerk’s Office. The contents of the foot-high mystery vessel were revealed during a small ceremony with guests including former Mayor Bill Gulliford and the city’s two longest-serving employees, 45-year employee Carlene Matthews and 40-year employee Ellen Lavake.
