In December, the Duval County School Board kicked off Instruments for Change, a program that accepts used instruments and money donations to provide instruments for students.
To help with this initiative, Ocean Beaches Auxiliary Unit 129 donated $1,000 to the program and the American Legion Post signed on as one of the drop-off locations for instrument and monetary donations.
