On Nov. 16, the Jacksonville Beach City Council adopted a declaration accepting the results of the election. Incoming Mayor Chris Hoffman welcomed new council members Fernando Meza, Dan Janson and Chet Stokes during the transition meeting which also bid farewell to two-term Mayor Charlie Latham and council members Keith Doherty and Phil Vogelsang.
