You have received this notice because our records indicate that you own property within 300 feet of real property that is the subject of this notice.

The Planning Commission for the City of Jacksonville Beach, Florida will meet and hold a public hearing on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers, located at 11 North 3 rd Street, Jacksonville Beach, Florida to consider the following conditional use application:

PC# 03-24 Conditional Use Application to allow for the construction of a two-unit multifamily structure located in the Commercial Limited: C-1 zoning district, pursuant to Section 34-342(d)15 (RM-1 Standards) of the Jacksonville Beach Land Development Code. The property is located at 0 St. Augustine Boulevard, RE#180544-0000, legally described as The West ½ of Lot 21 and all of Lot 22, Block 10, Replat Unit No. 1, Atlantic Shores, according to plate thereof as recorded in Plat Book 14, pages 39 and 40.

This application is on file with the Planning & Development Department and is open to public review during regular business hours. Please be advised you may attend the public hearing indicated in this notice and state your opinions, or you may respond by postal mail or e-mail to: planning@jaxbchfl.net no later than five (5) business days prior to the hearing. If you choose to respond in writing, please include the public hearing date and the PC number listed above. Your response will be acknowledged at said Public Hearing.

In accordance with Section 286.0114, Florida Statutes, any member of the public can attend the public hearing and can be heard on any matter presented before the Board. Anyone who wishes to provide live public comment should complete a Speaker Request Card and submit it to the recording secretary prior to the beginning of the meeting. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 286.26, Florida Statutes, persons with disabilities needing special accommodation to participate in this meeting should contact the City Clerks office no later than 5:00 p.m. on the day preceding the meeting.
In accordance with Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, any person desirous of appealing any decision reached at this meeting may need a record of the proceedings. Such person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
