Charlie Daniels coming to St. Augustine

On Friday, Nov. 6, the St. Augustine Amphitheatre will host The Charlie Daniels Band with special guest The Marshall Tucker Band.
Dove and Country Music Association Award-winner Charlie Daniels recorded his self-titled solo album in 1970. Two years later, he formed The Charlie Daniels Band and the group scored its first hit with “Uneasy Rider.” Since then, the band has populated radio with such hits as “Long Haired Country Boy,” “The South’s Gonna Do It Again,” “In America,” “The Legend of Wooley Swamp” and the Grammy Award-winning “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.”
The Marshall Tucker Band’s hits include “Heard It in a Love Song,” “Can’t You See,” “Fire on the Mountain,” “Long Hard Ride” and “Ramblin’.”
Nov. 6’s show starts at 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.). Tickets range from $39 to $74, and are available at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall box offices, and ticketmaster.com. The amphitheatre is located at 1340 C A1A S., St. Augustine.
