On Feb. 22, Beaches Go Green partnered with the Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra Beach to host a beach and community cleanup at Mickler’s Beach in Ponte Vedra.
More than 263 volunteers came together for the cleanup. About 342 cigarette butts were collected, as well as other items such as a bed frame and fuel drums.
In total, more than 650 pounds of trash and recyclable materials were collected and sorted.
