Notice is hereby given that there will be a REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING at 6:00 p.m., Monday, May 6, 2024, at which time a PUBLIC HEARING and SECOND READ on the following ordinance will be held:

ORDINANCE NO. 2024-03, SECOND READ AND PUBLIC HEARING,  An Ordinance  of the City of Neptune Beach, Florida, Amending Chapter 2, Article VI, Section 2-378, Written Request To Council; Approval; Bid Invitations; Providing for Severability; and Providing an Effective Date

The ordinance in their entirety may be inspected at the Office of the City Clerk during regular working hours.  All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance.

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Council with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing the person will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

Notice is hereby given that the Community Development Board for the City of Neptune Beach will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, May 08, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 116 First Street, Neptune Beach, Florida. The following are some items are on the agenda:

Special meeting of the Historic Preservation Committee

Special meeting of the Code Committee

V24-02 Application for variance as outlined in Chapter 27 Article III Division 8 of the Unified Land Development Code of Neptune Beach for LHV, LLC for the property at 450 Atlantic Blvd (RE# 172395-0060). The applicant requests a variance from Section 27-328 (a) (1) d. to permit air conditioning units to be located 1.8 feet from the western side yard property, rather than the required ten-foot side yard setback. The property is in the C-3 zoning district.

DP24-02 Application for Preliminary Development Plan as outlined in Chapter 27 Article III Division 2 of the Unified Land Development Code of Neptune Beach for LHV, LLC for the property at 450 Atlantic Blvd (RE# 172395-0060). The applicant requests a Development Plan approval to permit a mixed-use facility to include mixed martial arts training, racquetball, pickleball, karaoke bar, and pool tables. The property is in the C-3 zoning district.

The applicant requests a Development Plan approval to permit a bed and breakfast. The property is in the CBD zoning district.
