A dedication of the Rhoda Martin Early Learning Center was held recently, marking the upcoming opening of the only head start early learning program in Jacksonville Beach. The center, expected to open its doors in mid-October, honors the legacy of the woman whose life was dedicated to ministry and education in the Beaches' first African American community.
