REYNOLDS, MARY CAROLYN “CR”

Mary Carolyn Reynolds “CR” passed away on March 11, 2016. She was born on March 13, 1932, to Robert E. and Mary Marguerite Merritt in Jacksonville, Fl. She was a lifetime resident of the Beaches and Mayport. 
She was predeceased by her daughter Teresa Ann and brother Robert. She is survived by her children Billy (Gwen), Joe (Vicki), Barbara Ann (Paul) and Jason (Leigh Ann).  She is also survived by her grandchildren William (Ginny), Stephanie, Josh (Michelle), Zack, Justin, Sara Jo, Sean, Cody, Brad and Merritt; her great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Will, Saige, Sam, and Emma; her nieces and nephews, Richard, Kathy, Bobbie Lee, Connie Sue and Joey; and many great nieces and nephews.
CR retired from the Duval County Public Schools in 2003 after having worked 13 years at Atlantic Beach Elementary School. She was a devout member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Atlantic Beach and an ardent supporter of Fletcher High School and Florida Gator football. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. 
A wake will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach. A mass will be held at 10:00 am Friday, March 18, 2016, at St. John’s Catholic Church, 2400 Mayport Road, Atlantic Beach.
