Mildred "Millie" Ibarreche passed away on March 14th, 2016. She was born and raised in Prince William County, VA then relocated to the Jacksonville Beach area back in the early 1970s with her second husband, John Ibarreche, who has preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death are her parents Rufus and Verniece Russell, her first husband Gene Haggy and their child Diane, and her two beloved dogs Tinkerbell and Dynamite.  She is survived by her cousins who live In the Maryland and Virginia area.
She worked at Supervisory of Ship Building at Mayport Naval Station until retirement.  She enjoyed bowling, working with ceramics and building her music and video libraries. And while she did love her dogs, she had a soft spot in her heart for one cat, a tuxedo named #3. Of course she also loved dessert, especially chocolate chip cookies (or anything else with chocolate in the name) and ice cream.
She was a loyal friend, willing do anything to help someone and she will be missed. Please come and celebrate Millie's life at a reception to be held in the private dining room at Cypress Village (located off of San Pablo Rd) on Friday, April 1st from 1-3pm.
