DEESE, DOROTHY I.

Dorothy I. Deese passed peacefully on March 8, 2016. She is survived by daughter Maria Mark; son-in-law Bob Mark; grandson Garrett Mark; sister Nancy Powell; brother-in-law Raleigh Powell; nieces and nephews, Cindy Clay; Pamela (Kenneth)Castor; Randy (Glenda) Powell; Darel (Donna) Powell; and many great-nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her husband Herbert L. Deese.
Known for her warm smile, kindness, and love for animals and children, her greatest love was grandson Garrett and watching him play baseball.
The family sincerely thanks the Cypress Village memory care staff and Community Hospice of NEFL for their loving care.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Community Hospice in Dorothy’s honor are suggested. Dorothy’s service was held Monday March 14 at Central Church of the Nazarene, Jax, FL.
