Gary Bird Coleman, Sr., 75, passed away September 9, 2016. He was born August 21, 1941 in Daytona, Florida, to the late Virginia and Clark Coleman. He was the owner of Coleman’s Music Company for over 40 years.
Gary is survived by his wife of 25 years, Laurie, and was predeceased by his wife of 29 years, Janice. Also surviving are children Kim Hayward (Jim), Gary Coleman, Jr. (Emily), and Jill Pausche (Steve), step children Erin Jones (Daniel), Megan Nyhan (Nick), Kyle Jones (Jillian), 10 grandchildren and his sister Carolyn Sanders. He was predeceased by his brother William “Billy” Coleman.
A Memorial Service will be held at Community Presbyterian Church in Atlantic Beach Friday, September 16th at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
