Jacksonville Beach officials are taking action to ensure two of its neighborhood schools remain open. A proposal by the Duval County School Board (DCSB) would shutter both Seabreeze Elementary and San Pablo Elementary schools, and reconfigure Fletcher Middle School as a K-8 school to absorb the students displaced by the plan, if approved.
