Jacksonville Beach city staff is less inclined to say no when a city councilor asks for a special event.
That is what Mayor Charlie Latham said May 16 shortly before the council agreed to have the city attorney review the city’s special events policy.
Until the review is concluded, possibly by year end, the city will not accept any reservations for any new special events involving alcohol in 2016…
