Fletcher opened up its 2016 district play with a win over Atlantic Coast in a nail-biter that came down to the closing minutes.
The Senators (4-0, 1-0 District 2-7A) were pinned deep in their own territory late in the game, got a nice punt from James Shaefer out of the end zone, leaving the Stingrays (1-3, 0-1) with about half a field to try to tie the game.
